CNC Machining & Fabrication Capabilities

CNC Milling

E-Sector’s CNC milling capabilities support a wide range of part sizes and manufacturing requirements, with machine envelopes up to 80" x 40" x 36 (2m3). That capacity gives us the flexibility to handle both smaller precision components and larger workpieces depending on the needs of the job.

Our CNC mills also include precision probing for measuring, adding another level of measurement capability during the machining process. Together, these capabilities allow us to support complex machining work while maintaining the precision and control required for demanding parts.

CNC Turning

Our CNC turning capabilities include multi-axis live tooling and swing capacity up to 18 inches. This capability allows us to produce complex shapes and detailed features while maintaining concentricity and true position required for complex geometries. From straightforward turned components to more involved geometries, our equipment supports a wide range of turning work.

Laser Cutting & Marking

Fiber laser cutting gives us the ability to turn sheet material into accurate parts, profiles and components for everything from individual pieces to larger fabrication work. Our cutting capacity handles sheets up to 5' x 10', with steel up to 5/8" thick.

Because laser cutting is part of our broader in-house manufacturing operation, those parts can move directly into bending, welding and other fabrication processes when the job calls for it. We also offer fiber laser marking and engraving for serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, part numbers and graphics, giving customers a practical way to add identification and traceability directly to their parts.

Wire EDM

Wire EDM gives us another option when a part calls for extremely precise features or geometry that can be difficult to produce with conventional machining. We use it for work such as keyways, splines, gears and gages, where accuracy and detail are critical.

It is also useful beyond production work. Wire EDM can be used to section parts for inspection, destructive testing and analysis, giving customers a precise way to examine a component when understanding what is happening inside the part matters.

Precision Bending

For larger fabricated parts, the bend can determine how everything else comes together. E-Sector’s precision bending capabilities allow us to form larger components to the angles, profiles and formed features required by the design.

Accurate, consistent forming helps carry the correct geometry into welding, assembly and finishing, where an incorrect bend can create problems throughout the rest of the part.

Welding & NDT

E-Sector provides AWS-certified MIG and TIG welding for steel, aluminum and stainless steel, supporting everything from individual welded components to larger fabricated assemblies. The ability to work across multiple materials gives us the flexibility to match the welding process to the requirements of the part.

When a weld or component needs more than a visual check, non-destructive testing provides a way to evaluate its condition without cutting into or sacrificing the part. It adds another level of inspection for work where weld quality and part integrity need to be verified before the component moves forward.

Machine Shop & Tool Room

Some machining work is simply better suited to conventional equipment. E-Sector maintains a complete machine shop and tool room with Bridgeport mills, lathes, surface grinding, drilling, tapping and other equipment for those operations.

That range gives our machinists more options when a part needs additional features, secondary operations or hands-on machining that does not require a full CNC setup. It is another layer of capability that helps us approach each part based on what the work actually calls for.
